The fireworks show came early for the Griffons as Nevada defeated the Clarinda A’s in a high-scoring MINK League affair Saturday night in Iowa. The series-opening victory upped Nevada’s MINK League-record to 12-14 overall. The Griffons heated up offensively in the second, breaking open a 1-1 tie as Nevada plated four runs in the inning.
