Jacob Guy McNeely, 23, Nevada, passed away, Tuesday, Aug. 29. Jacob was born Jan. 18, 1994 in Liberty, Mo., the son of Timothy Craig and Sharon Jeanette (Cramer) McNeely. He graduated from Lathrop High School in Lathrop, Mo., and enlisted in the United States Army. Jacob served his country as a combat medic at Ft. Stewart, Army Base in Georgia. Wilma Lee Shupe, 85, Nevada, died Thursday, Aug. 31, after a brief illness. She was born on March 22, 1932, in Lamar, to Ora L. and Bertie A. (Lloyd) Faubion. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 5, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Kevin Moyers officiating. Interment will follow in Moore Cemetery, Nevada.
