Ronald E. Baughn, 65, passed away Friday, Nov. 3, at his home in Carthage. Ronald was born Sept. 21, 1952, in Holbrook, Ariz., to Clarence Milton Baughn and Marion “Shellenberg” Baughn. Ronald was a long-time resident of Nevada, but spent the last two years living in Carthage. He was a Vietnam Veteran in the United States Navy and worked as a sales associate at Tap-Jac Lumber for several years...

June Gilbert was born November 5, 1927, in Ridgedale, Mo., to Edna L. Jones and Hubert H. Hopper. She died on Nov. 4, with her son by her side in Lee’s Summit, Mo. Funeral services will be held at the Nevada United Methodist Church at 2 p.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 7, with visitation one hour prior starting at 1 p.m., at the church. Nancy Lorraine Stafford, 70, Lamar, died on Sunday, Nov. 5, at her home in Lamar. Nancy was born Feb. 14, 1947, in Long Beach, Calif., to Robert Wallace and Madeline (Caulkins) Neville. On Sept. 13, 2000, she married Rick Allen Stafford and he survives of the home...
