Ellen Flora Yurk, 83, of Nevada, Mo., died on Friday, Sept. 7, 2018, at Freeman Health System West. Ellen was born on Feb. 6, 1935, in Nevada, to James Daniel and Velie Vina (Strain) Bowen. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 12, at Ferry Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m., until the time of service at the funeral home...
