KCP&L customers to benefit from tax savings

According to a press release, Kansas City Power and Light Company (KCP&L) states that customers will notice a deduction from their original billing amount on their February statements. “In January 2018, the federal government reduced corporate tax rates as part of the Tax Cut & Jobs Act, which decreased the corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 21 percent,” noted the press release. ...
