Among the bids presented to the Nevada City Council Tuesday evening, one was for the purchase of a 84" skid-steer grappler to be used for debris removal. Nevada City Manager Mark Mitchell explained to the council that although the lowest bid came from New Holland of Nevada, Mo. ($5,100), the problem would be with availability.
