Henry J. Austin, 87, who had just recently moved from Nevada, Mo., to Rock Springs, Wyo., passed from this life on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023. He was born to Tommy C. and Hattie (Horning) Austin on Sept. 6, 1935. Raised in El Dorado Springs, he married Rosella Rapp on April 18, 1959. They moved to Wyoming in 1965 where Henry worked for various employers, including the railroad, most often as a watchman and security guard. They moved back to the area, settling in Nevada in 2001...

The Nevada High School Tiger Basketball team celebrated Senior Night Thursday evening, recognizing the team's seniors along with their parents.
