Children's Center receives help of mice and 'men'

With traditional trumpet fanfare and checkered flags flying, the Nevada Children’s Center Mouse Race was off and running (literally, for the mice) on Friday, March 8, hosted at the Nevada Elks Club. Attended by approximately 180 to 200 participants, (and 12 athletic mice), the annual affair also included not only multiple rodent match-ups, but a championship race, mouse roulette, multiple silent auction donations lining at least one and half sides of the gathering place, as well as a live auction, a Wishing Tree, two 50/50 raffle winners and other raffles, and food…plenty of food.. ...
