The email said, “Hello, I was wondering who I would get in contact with to have an article wrote up. My 85-year-old dad (Othal Baldwin aka Jack) is the last known living inmate of the Bushwhacker jail. We are having a float in the parade Saturday and the float will look like a jail cell. The family thinks it would be neat if we could get an article written up that tells a little about his history in the jail…If this is something you all would be interested in please let me know.”...
