Council approves funding application to help with Walton Lake project

The Nevada City Council on Tuesday, June 17, voted on the first reading of a resolution that authorizes the city manager to apply for financial assistance for the Walton Lake Project. On Tuesday, Parks and Recreation Director Richard Brockman said the project involves draining and dredging the lake, then constructing a new spillway. A reservoir will be created to help prevent sediment from going into the lake...
