Edith Nancy Fraise

Edith Nancy Fraise, 94, Nevada, Mo., died Sat., Jan. 3, 2004, at the Nevada Regional Medical in Nevada following a brief illness. She was born March 14, 1909, in Howell County, Mo., to Robert Wesley Thompson and Mary Elizabeth Allen Thompson. She was married Jan. 20, 1950, in Nevada, Mo., to John Edward Fraise. He preceded her in death in 1979.

Mrs. Fraise was a member of the First Christian Church in Fort Scott, Kan. She was raised in Howell County, Mo., and spent some time living and working in Kansas City, Mo., but spent most of her adult life in Nevada, Mo. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Eagles Club.

Survivors include one sister, Mary Campbell, Fort Scott, Kan.; one stepson, John Edward Fraise, Lee's Summit, Mo.; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004, at Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Scott, Kan., with the Rev. Reed Hartford officiating and interment following.
