Special to the Herald

Our Mother's Day Special Race got us back into racing after a two week rain delay. The Midwest Outlaw Mini Sprints joined us this week for one of their scheduled visits to the track this year. Their excitement started during hot laps when two of the cars got together sending one flipping. Both drivers were OK but only one was able to race during the evening. We had new winners in four divisions this week and lots of action with spins, crashes and another mini-sprint flip during the feature. Join us each and every week at the BIGGEST LITTLE RACE TRACK IN THE COUNTRY to catch all the action.

STREET STOCK: Heat race winners were Craig Spencer, Liberal, Jessy Willard, Mound City, KS and Karl Lehmann, Nevada. The B Feature started with Joey Thornburg in the lead. He went high in the corner, which allowed Jeremy Wilson to gain the lead. Wilson claimed the win and moved up to the back of the A Feature along with Tracy Joles, Brent Bollinger and Ryan Hill. After three attempts to get the race started it was underway with Spencer in the lead. This was a caution filled race with lots of spins and crashes.
