Hawks joins Row of Honor

A plaque recognizing Zach Hawks' participation in sports from his days in the Nevada Little League baseball program through his graduation from the University of Missouri-Rolla in May 2004 with a degree in civil engineering was recently added to the Little League Row of Honor at Lyons Stadium. Hawks, a 1999 Nevada High School graduate, was a member of the NHS baseball team and the wrestling team. He played baseball at Crowder College before transferring to UMR where he played on the Miners baseball team and was selected to the MIAA All Academic team.

To be a member of the Row of Honor a person must: have played Little League baseball, played high school baseball, played a team sport in college for at least three years and graduate from college.
