Jaicee Leigh Bloom

Jeff and April Bloom, Nevada, are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Jaicee Leigh Bloom. Jaicee was born at 1:05 p.m., on Aug. 2, 2004, at Nevada Regional Medical Center. She weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces, and measured 21 inches. Paternal grandparents are Gary and Terri Bloom, Nevada. Paternal great-grandparents are the late Frank and Myrtle Bloom, Nevada, and the late Richard and Wilma Jestes, Nevada. Maternal grandparent is Kathy Wilson, Nevada. Maternal great-grandparents are Richard Wilson, Sheldon, and Juanita (Wilson) Romines, Nevada.

Deaths

Betty Ann Riggs

Betty Ann Riggs, 74, died Aug. 9, 2004. Services were held at Ferry Funeral Home on Aug. 12, at 10 a.m., with John Nichols officiating. Musical selections were "One Day at a Time" and "Amazing Grace." Pallbearers were Henry Webb, Roy Whalan, Levi Carlson, Jack Baldwin, Don Stark and Pete Weber. Interment was in Moore Cemetery. Arrangements were by Ferry Funeral Home.

Ethel Ione McComas

Ethel Ione McComas, 92, died Aug. 8, 2004. Services were held at Newton Burial Park on Aug. 12, at 11 a.m., with Steve Dean officiating. Inurnment was in Newton Burial Park. Arrangements were by Ferry Funeral Home.

Loren Clarence Davenport

Loren Clarence Davenport, 85, died Aug. 9, 2004. Services were held at Ferry Funeral Home on Aug. 12, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Bill Smith officiating. Soloist was Wes Morton. Musical selections were "In the Garden" and "The Old Rugged Cross." Organist was Wanda Kannady. Pallbearers were Jack Teague, Darrin Teague, Dan Coffman, Patrick Coffman, Tim Coffman and Denny Coffman. Interment was in Newton Burial Park. Arrangements were by Ferry Funeral Home.

Judge H.A. Kelso

Judge H.A. Kelso, 92, Nevada, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2004, at K.U. Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan. Service arrangements and funeral information will be announced later by Evergreen Memorial Chapel.
