Trinity Leigh Haynes

Christopher and Brittany Haynes, Moundville, are proud to announce the birth of their daughter Trinity Leigh Haynes. Trinity was born at 12:17 a.m., on Aug. 26, 2004, at Nevada Regional Medical Center. She weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces, and measured 19 inches. Paternal grandparents are Bill and Sandra West, Horton, and Dennis and Lonna Haynes, Ankeny, Iowa. Paternal great-grandparents are Patricia Gardner, Nevada, and Don and Deloris Haynes, Des Moines, Iowa. Maternal grandparents are Tim and Debbie Wintjen, Moundville. Maternal great-grandparents are George and Peggy Kuhlmon, Moundville, and Robert and Pearl Wintjen, Nevada.

Deaths

Gary Lynn Gammon

Gary Lynn Gammon, 49, Sheldon, died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2004, after battling cancer for over a year.

He was born April 22, 1955, in Hollywood, Fla., to John and Madia (Cummings) Gammon. He spent most of his adult life in Sheldon. This is where he and his wife, Linda Lee (McDermott) Gammon were raising their family.

In addition to his wife Linda he is survived by five children, Jessica, Nevada, John Paul, Sweethorne, Ore., Meagan Loree, Gary Lynn II and Mystere Adawn, all of Sheldon; five grandchildren; mother, Madia Hogan of Carl Junction; two sisters, Carol Ann Bendure, Carl Junction, and Maxine Thompson, El Dorado Springs; four brothers, Jack Spitsner, Johnny Bell, Charlie Bell and Jimmy Bell all of Illinois; many cousins; nieces; and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, J. P. Gammon; and two brothers, Albert Bell and James Bell.

He was a retreading technician for Bandag, Inc. for many years. He also worked at O'Sullivan Industries as a machine operator for several years and worked as a siding contractor throughout his entire adult life.

Family visitation will be Monday, Aug. 30, 2004, from 7-8 p.m. at Beeny-Ferry Funeral Home, Sheldon.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday Aug. 31, 2004, at 10:30 a.m. at Beeny-Ferry Funeral Home, Sheldon. Friends may call now and until 8 p.m. on Sunday at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, and 9 a.m. on Monday and until the hour of service at Beeny-Ferry Funeral Home, Sheldon. Those who wish may contribute to the family in care of Beeny-Ferry Funeral Home, Sheldon.

Edna B. Smith

Edna B. Smith, 91, Bronaugh, died Thursday, Aug. 25, 2004, at Moore-Few Car Center, Nevada. Family information and funeral arrangements will be announced later by Ferry Funeral Home.
