Bloodmobile collects 154 units

The American Red Cross reports that, during a two-day visit to Nevada last week, the organization's Bloodmobile collected 154 units of blood.

Several people received gallon pins, including Charles Land, 15 gallons; Ernest Leon Smith, 14 gallons; Iva Reed, 13 gallons; Diane Martin, 12 gallons; Marlo Koehn, 10 gallons; Gary Smith, four gallons; Cheryl Gillette, Tim Bullard and Ashley Banes, three gallons; and Brandi Basham, Cathleen Denton, Marla Sage and Jeffrey Burrell, one gallon.

There were eight persons who were first-time donors to the Bloodmobile. They were Michelle Green, George Hold, Kelly Mellas, Hattie Asher, Amy Sperline, Elizabeth Randolph, Gerald Naylor and Elizabeth Hawbaker.

The next visit of the Red Cross Bloodmobile will be Dec. 9 and 10.
