Balks celebrate silver anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Balk of rural Rich Hill celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary Dec. 1, 2004. Larry Vernon Balk and the former Deborah Dianne Adams were married Dec. 1, 1979, at the home of the bride's mother, Mary Anne Adams Seagraves, in Nevada, Mo.

The Balks have three children and one grandson: Kelly (Balk) Waltrip and her son, Matthew, of Springfield, Mo.; Shane Balk of Nevada; and Bethany Balk of the home.

Mr. Balk is engaged in farming and Mrs. Balk works part-time for Bell Books, Rich Hill, Mo.
