Youth free-throw contest Saturday

There will be a youth free-throw contest Saturday at Nevada Middle School for boys and girls age 10-14.
The contest will begin at 10 a.m.
The winners of the contest will move on to the district competition with a chance to go to the state level on the line.
Last year there were more than 179,000 kids who participated in the program sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. There were more than 3,000 local competitions last year.
There will be different age divisions for the event.
Contestants must furnish proof of age and written parental consent in order to participate.
Entry forms will be available at the school the day of the event and there is no charge to compete.
