Bill Hall

Bill Hall, 63, passed away in Wichita, Kan., on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005, after battling cancer. He was born Jan. 11, 1942, in Sheldon, to Wilburn and Velma Moore Hall.

He graduated from Nevada High School in 1960, where he was active in sports. He was an avid golfer, loving father and grandfather. He worked in the insurance business for many years, and recently retired from Feist Publications.

Survivors include two daughters, Carrie VanAntwerp, Wichita, Kan., and Lorrie Valentich, Lewisville, Texas; three brothers, Gary, Ronnie, and Mike Hall; three sisters, Virginia, Cindy, and Janelle; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.

Family and friends will gather at the Nevada Country Club from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26. Committal services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, at the Sheldon Cemetery, Sheldon, with Pastor Dennis Clough officiating.
