The Tigers lost 6-3, as they dropped four of six individual matches and two of three doubles matches.

Justdan Lockwood and Taylor Hall both earned victories in singles play, while the doubles team of Derek Fast and Adam Gullett was victorious.

Lockwood handled Spencer Farley in the number-four singles match, and Hall won the number-six singles match over Chadd Dwyer.

Fast and Gullett won in the number-two doubles match by a score of 8-4 over Joe Adams and Dwyer.

In singles Derek Fast dropped the number-one match to Ryan Childress, 8-4. Fast's match was the only other decent opportunity the Tigers had in the competition as the other losses were not very close.

Ryan Kimbrough was beaten by Phil McClintock 8-2 in the number-two singles match.

In number-three singles Ed Horst fell to Adams 8-1.

Gullett lost to Lucas Merino in the number-five singles match 8-1.

The number-ne doubles match was not very close as Childress and McClintock cruised to an 8-0 victory.

Lockwood and Hall lost in the number-three doubles match 8-2.

In junior varsity action Nevada's Jake Holmes beat Justin Fox 7-5. Erik DeLaney also beat Fox, 6-4.

Holmes lost to Alex Barnes in the only other JV match of the day, 6-3.

The Tigers will be back on the court again Tuesday as they continue a long road swing at Webb City. The Tigers will not have another home match until they host Neosho April 29. Before that they will play in tournaments at Thomas Jefferson and Harrisonville, as well as a dual at Carthage.
