A 1984 Chevrolet mini bus converted into an RV burst into flames about 3:19 Thursday afternoon while traveling westbound on US 54 a mile and a half east of Nevada. The owner was alone in the vehicle when, "All of a sudden I heard something pop. And then I smelled something burning," said Betsy Dishman of El Dorado Springs. Dishman escaped injury, but the vehicle was a total loss. "The fire was started due to a ruptured fuel line," said Captain Bill Thornton of the Nevada Fire Department.
