Oil drill strikes big flow of water

The Nevada Gas and Oil Company's big drill opened up an artesian well this morning ... The drill had reached a depth of 343 feet and ... when pulled out a strong flow of water followed and ran over the top of the casing.

The water is clear and contains sulfur similar to that flowing from the artesian well at Elks Springs.

Mr. Pearson informs the Mail that the water will not interfere with the drilling as the water will be cased off as soon as possible.
