Neptunes take first in 18 events in dual meet against Lamar

The Nevada Neptunes and Lamar Tiger Sharks squared off in a dual at Walton Aquatic Center June 29.

The Neptunes had 18 first-place finishes in the meet.

In the boys 8-and-under, 100-yard medley relay, Dalton Eador, Myles Coffer, Jesse Claypool and Andrew Messick finished second.

In the girls 8-and-under 100 medley relay, Maya Rhodes, Hunter Richmond, Emma Denman and Logan Baldwin placed third.

In the girls age 11-12 100 medley relay, Ashley Coffer, Shelby Thorns, Elizabeth Quitno and Torrie Arrington took second.

In the boys 8-and-under 25-yard freestyle, Andrew Messick was third, Dalton Eador was fourth, Zach Collins was fifth, James White was eighth, Jesse Claypool was ninth and Myles Coffer was 11th.

In the boys 6-and-under 25 freestyle, Johnny Quitno was first with a time of 26.09 seconds, Jacob Johnson was second, Evan Irwin was third and Garrent Forester was fourth.

In the girls 8-and-under 25 freestyle, Emma Denman was first with a time of 19.17, Logan Baldwin was fourth, Taylor Dockery was sixth, MaKenna Hill was eighth, Carsten Warner was ninth, Lize Smith was 10th, Hunter Richmond was 11th, Netanya Hart was 12th, Maya Rhodes was 13th, Darcy Bond was 15th and Saraya Giberti was 17th.

In the girls 6-and-under 25 freestyle, Megan Hold was first with a time of 31.94, Jessica White was second, Ashton Eador was fifth and Carlie McCaffree was seventh.

In the boys 10-and-under 50 freestyle, Nick Connor was fourth, Lucas Christiansen was sixth and Slade Stiles was seventh.

In the girls 10-and-under 50 freestyle, Brook Munsterman was first with a time of 39.78 seconds, Madison Harms was fourth, Michele Forester was fifth, Shelby Wilson was sixth and Cara Clow was seventh.

In the girls age 11-12 50 freestyle, Megan Messick was third, Shelby Thorns was fourth, Kelly Clow was fifth, Morgan Turner was sixth, Torrie Arrington was seventh, Ashley Coffer was eighth and Kayla Burnham was ninth.

In the girls age 13-14 50 freestyle, Melanie Messick was third, Erin Quest was fourth, Jessica Davis was fifth and Chelsie Turner was sixth.

In the girls age 15-18 50 freestyle, Kristen Badgley took first with a time of 28.28 seconds and Claire Hissink was second.

In the boys 8-and-under 25 yard backstroke, Dalton Eador was first with a time of 28.77 seconds, Jesse Claypool was third and Zach Cullison was sixth.

In the boys 6-and-under 25 backstroke, Jacob Johnson was first with a time of 32.72 seconds and Johnny Quitno was third.

In the girls 8-and-under 25 backstroke, MaKenna Hill was third, Emma Denman was fourth, Logan Baldwin was fifth, Taylor Dockery was sixth, Carston Warner was seventh, Maya Rhodes was 10th and Saraya Giberti was 11th.

In the boys 10-and-under 100 individual medley, Morgan Hold won with a time of 1 minute, 43.87 seconds.

In the girls 10-and-under 100 IM, Caitlyn Cable placed third.

In the girls age 11-12 100 IM, Megan Messick was third and Elizabeth Quitno was fourth.

In the girls age 15-18 200 IM, Emily Ricketts won with a time of 2 minutes, 58.90 seconds.

In the boys 8-and-under 25 yard butterfly, Andrew Messick was second and Andrew Quitno was fourth.

In the boys 10-and-under 50 butterfly, Morgan Hold won with a time of 49.33 seconds, and Nick Connor was second.

In the girls 10-and-under 50 butterfly, Caitlyn Cable won with a time of 46.76 seconds.

In the girls age 11-12 50 butterfly, Elizabeth Quitno was fifth.

In the girls age 13-14 50 butterfly, Erin Quest was second.

In the girls age 15-18 50 butterfly, Kristen Badgley won with a time of 29.52 seconds, Claire Hissink was second and Emily Ricketts was third.

In the girls age 11-12 50 breaststroke, Shelby Thorns was third and Ashley Coffer was fifth.

In the girls age 13-14 50 breaststroke, Erin Quest won with a time of 40.94 seconds and Melanie Messick was third.

In the girls age 15-18 50 breaststroke, Lindsey Webb won with a time of 38.10 seconds, Claire Hissink was second and Emily Ricketts was third.

In the boys 8-and-under 100 yard freestyle relay, the team of Zach Collins, Andrew Quitno, Andrew Messick and Jesse Claypool was second. The team of Myles Coffer, Evan Irwin, Dalton Eador and Seth Turner was third.

In the girls 8-and-under 100 freestyle relay, the team of Logan Baldwin, Taylor Dockery, Maya Rhodes and Hunter Richmond placed second.

In the boys 10-and-under 100 freestyle relay, the team of Morgan Hold, Lucas Christiansen, Nick Connor and Slade Stiles placed second.

In the girls 10-and-under 100 freestyle relay, the team of Makenna Hill, Megan Hold, Ashton Eador and Carolyn Quitno took second.

In the girls age 11-12 100 freestyle relay, the team of Megan Messick, Shelby Thorns, Elizabeth Quitno and Kelly Clow placed second. The team of Kayla Burnham, Morgan Turner, Torrie Arrington and Ashley Coffer took third.

In the girls age 13-14 200 freestyle relay, the team of Melanie Messick, Erin Quest, Chelsie Turner and Jessica Davis placed second.

In the girls age 15-18 200 freestyle relay, the team of Lindsey Webb, Kristen Badgley, Claire Hissink and Emily Ricketts won with a time of 2 minutes, 02.84 seconds. The Neptunes also participated in a meet in Ozark on July 2, those results will be in the Nevada Daily Mail on Friday. The next meet for the Neptunes is this weekend in Joplin.
