No one injured in electrical fire

At 8:08 a.m., Wednesday, Engine 219 along with a crew of three firefighters responded to a structure fire call at a rural home just west of Nevada. Upon arriving at the scene firefighters found that the fire had been extinguished by Aquila personnel using an extinguisher. According to the fire department the cause of the fire was an electrical short in the porch of the home. There were no injuries reported.
