Celebrating 102 years

Burton Hoffman celebrated his 102 birthday with family and friends Sunday at Moore-Few Care Center. Musicians from the Presbyterian Church sang and played an original number written just for Hoffman. He said he felt fortunate that his beloved wife Martha shared her life with him until she died, at 95 years old. He added that he remembers all his family, friends and past co-workers with Farm & Home where he was employed for many years prior to retirement. "I never thought I'd live to be 102!" Hoffman said with a grin.
