Hume girls drop pair

The Hume Lady Hornets lost two games over the past week.

On Nov. 22, the Lady Hornets fell to Miami at Hume, 33-15.

Janine Castillo led Hume with nine points, while Leana Brooks paced the team with eight rebounds.

A cold shooting night doomed Hume, as the Lady Hornets only converted 14 percent of their field goal attempts.

Hume did not shoot much better Tuesday as they lost 52-16 to Montrose.

The Lady Hornets converted only five field goals on 30 attempts the entire game (17 percent), as they lost their second straight.

Castillo again led the way with 12 points and a team-high seven rebounds for Hume.
