The Nevada Youth Wrestling Club had wrestlers in two different tournaments over the weekend.

Four Nevada-area youth traveled to Ozark Saturday, with each of them placing in the tournament.

Slade Stiles, True Beisly and Sam Ellifrits each placed third in the tournament at Ozark, while Trevor Fast took second.

There were seven NYWC members wrestling in a tournament at Seneca, also Saturday. Five of them placed.

Trey Pritchett came home with a second-place trophy. Skyler Scotten and Chance Mays each took third. Regar Hardin and Tanner Charles both placed fourth. Meanwhile, Dylan Hyder wrestled in the novice tournament at Seneca Sunday, and placed fourth.

Saturday there will be another split in the club as some wrestlers will be competing in Lee's Summit, and others will venture to Carl Junction for tournaments.

Nevada will be hosting its annual youth wrestling tournament at Wynn Gymnasium Jan. 22.
