Tennis clinic in Nevada

After a very successful fall tennis clinic for youth, Elizabeth Hadler will be leading a spring tennis clinic for youth and adults.

Hadler is a former college tennis coach and player.

The registration fees for the clinic will again be used for the Nevada school tennis programs.

Hadler will be assisted with the clinic by Nevada High School tennis coach Dennis Pendrak and some high school players.

The clinic will consist of three one-hour sessions on Sunday afternoons in March and April.

The fee is $16 per participant.

The dates for the clinic are March 26, April 2, April 9 and April 23.

If a rain date is needed it will be on April 30.

Interested participants in kindergarten through third grade will go from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Fourth grade through eighth grade students will go from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Adults will go from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

All sessions will be held at Nevada's high school tennis courts.

The registration deadline is Tuesday, March 23.

There will be tennis rackets available for borrowing if a participant does not have one.
