Anna Ring, age 95, of Sheldon, died on Saturday, April 8, 2006, at Christian Health Care in Nevada, following a short illness. She was born on Nov. 22, 1910, in Monroe, S.D., to George and Flora Schaefer Schulte. She was married to Clifford Ring on Sept. 15, 1935, in Kansas City, Mo., and he preceded her in death on May 27, 1983.

Anna grew up in Monroe, and graduated school there. She and her husband lived in the Kansas City area for 24 years and then Weaubleau, Mo., for three years before making Sheldon their home in 1962. She was a homemaker and a participant in Ring and Sons Television begun by her husband and son Clifford Jr. in 1960. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Lamar, Mo., and attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Nevada.

Suvivors include two sons, Ron Ring and Clifford Ring Jr.; and one daughter, Carolyn D. Fultz, all of Sheldon; her sister, Bertha Riekens, Lennox, S.D.; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews survive in the state of Washington and South Dakota. She was preceded in death by one sister, Gertrude Dirks; four brothers, Henry Schulte, Kearney Schulte, Arthur Schulte, and William Schulte.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, April 12, at the Sheldon Cemetery, Sheldon. Friends may call from Monday until 1 p.m., on Wednesday, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.
