Lisa Pendrak signs a letter of intent to play tennis at Northwest Missouri State University Thursday. Lisa will be joining sister Gina Pendrak, who is also going to play tennis for the Bearcats after spending the past two years at Cowley County Community College in Arkansas City, Kan. Lisa and Gina's older sister Jan also played for the Bearcats. Lisa was a four-time all-Southwest Conference selection, four-time all-district pick, four-time state qualifier (seventh in the state her junior year), undefeated in career conference matches, team MVP twice and holds the school records for most wins in a season and career. She was also selected as the Nevada High School's female athlete of the year for 2005-'06. Sitting with Pendrak are parents Dennis and Lois Pendrak.
