Goldie Bell Reyez

c, 90, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2006, in Nevada, Mo., where she had been a resident of the Barone Alzheimer's Care Center for the past three years, and where she received excellent care.

Goldie was born on Dec. 7, 1915, in Arma, Kan., the daughter of Manuel and Evaline Swafford. She had seven brothers and sisters, all of whom preceded her in death. They were Bessie, Sydney, Woodrow, Dovie, Mae, Earl and Glenn. She married Ivan Bowen in 1932 and had three children, Shirley Sprague, Arma, Kan., Eva Mae Readinger, Nevada, Mo., and Bob Bowen, Toledo, Wash. Ivan passed away in 1978.

Goldie married Marshall Reyez in 1956, where they lived in Kansas City, Mo. He passed away on Feb. 10, 2006.

Goldie had eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements for Goldie Reyez have been set for 2 p.m., Monday, July 10, at the Mt. Washington Mausoleum, 614 Brookside, Independence, MO 64053.
