Nevada Neptunes results from Springfield and Lamar

The Nevada Neptunes competed in Springfield on July 1-2. Kristen Badgley won four events and finished second in another to lead the team. Badgley also finished fourth in one event and sixth in another to earn the Neptunes 51 points by herself.

Badgley won the girls age 15-18, 50-yard freestyle; the 50-yard backstroke; the 200-yard individual medley and he 50-yard butterfly. She was second in the 200 freestyle, fourth in the100 freestyle and sixth in the 50-yard breaststroke.

Other top 10 finishes:

Lucas Denman was third in the boys age 11-12, 50-yard breaststroke and fifth in the 100 freestyle. Denman was also eighth in the 50-yard freestyle and ninth in the 100 IM.

Brooke Munsterman was fourth in the girls age 11-12, 50-yard breaststroke.

Garrett Forester was fourth in the boys 6-and-under, 25-yard butterfly and ninth in the 25-yard freestyle.

Carlie McCaffree was fifth in the girls 6-and-under, 25-yard freestyle and fifth in the 25-yard backstroke.

Andrew Messick was fifth in both the boys 10-and-under, 50-yard backstroke, and the 50-yard butterfly. He was also seventh in the 100 freestyle and the 100 IM.

Haiden Richmond placed fifth in the girls 6-and-under, 25-yard butterfly, and was ninth in the 25-yard backstroke.

Jesse Claypool was fifth in the boys 10-and-under, 50-yard breaststroke and sixth in the 100 IM.

Lindsey Webb was fifth in the girls age 15-18, 50-yard breaststroke, eighth in the 100 freestyle and eighth in the 50-yard butterfly. She was also ninth in the 50-yard freestyle.

Maddie McCaffree was sixth in the girls 6-and-under, 25-yard freestyle and eighth in the 25-yard backstroke.

Dalton Eador was sixth in the boys 10-and-under, 100 freestyle.

Carston Warner was eighth in the girls 8-and-under, 25-yard freestyle and ninth in the 50-yard freestyle.

Shelby Thorns was ninth in the girls age 11-12, 50-yard breaststroke.

The Neptunes also participated in a dual with Lamar on July 7.

Six relay teams won and the Neptunes placed first in 27 individual events.

The relay team of Dalton Eador, Andrew Messick, Jesse Claypool and Andrew Quitno won the boys 10-and-under, 100-yard medley relay.

The team of Lucas Denman, Nick Conner, Dillion Smith and Slade Stiles won the boys age 11-12, 200 medley relay and the 200 freestyle relay.

The team of Lauren Klinksick, Ashley Coffer, Rachel Savage and Melanie Messick won the girls age 13-14, 200 medley relay.

The same team won the 200 freestyle relay.

The team of Bryson Leftwich, Jake Asberry, Jacob Johnson and Trey Pritchett won the boys 8-and-under, 100 freestyle relay.

The relay team of Jacob Johnson, Johnny Quitno, Garrett Forester and Jake Asberry was second in the 100 medley relay.

The team of Kelly Clow, Elizabeth Quitno, Caitlyn Cable and Tayrin Schmidtt was second in the girls age 11-12, 200 medley relay.

The same team was second in the 200 freestyle relay.

The team of Cara Clow, Emma Denman, Brooke Bland and Hunter Richmond was second in the girls 10-and-under, 100 freestyle relay.

The team of Carston Warner, Ashton Eador, Lori Lile and Kyla Smith was second in the girls 8-and-under, 100 freestyle relay.

The team of Jesse Claypool, Andrew Messick, Andrew Quitno and Dalton Eador was second in the boys 10-and-under, 100 freestyle relay.

The team of Brooke Bland, Emma Denman, Carsten Warner and Hunter Richmond was third in the girls 10-and-under, 100 medley relay.

The team of Carlie McCaffree, Haiden Richmond, Maddie McCaffree and Janna Scotten was third in the girls 8-and-under, 100 freestyle relay.

The team of A.J. Greer, Garrett Forester, Levi Palmer and Caleb Longobardi was third in the boys 8-and-under, 100 freestyle relay.

In the boys 8-and-under, 25-yard freestyle, Jacob Johnson placed first, Jake Asberry second, Johnny Quitno third and Levi Palmer fifth.

In the boys 6-and-under, 25-yard freestyle, Caleb Longobardi won the event, Garrett Forester was second, Brian Wilson third.

In the girls 8-and-under, 25-yard freestyle, Carsten Warner was second and Lori Lile fifth.

In the girls 6-and-under, 25-yard freestyle, Janna Scotten won, Maddie McCaffree was third, Carlie McCaffree was fourth and Emily Johnson fifth.

In the boys 10-and-under, 50-yard freestyle, Jesse Claypool placed third.

In the girls 10-and-under, 50-yard freestyle, Brooke Bland was fifth.

In the boys age 11-12, 50-yard freestyle, Nick Conner was second, True Beisly third and Colby Smith fifth.

In the girls age 11-12, 50-yard freestyle, Tayrin Schmidtt won the event, Torie Arrington was second, Kelly Clow third, Elizabeth Quitno fourth and Michele Forester fifth.

In the boys age 13-14, 50-yard freestyle, Clint Bland placed second.

In the girls age 13-14, 50-yard freestyle, Melanie Messick was second, Lauren Klinksick third, and Rachel Savage fourth.

Dustin Long won the boys age 15-18, 50-yard freestyle.

Kristen Badgley won the same age group on the girls side, while Emily Ricketts was second.
