Kathryn "Katie" LaCygne Savidge Kluge

Kathryn "Katie" LaCygne Savidge Kluge, died on Sunday, July 16, 2006, in a head on collision on U.S. Highway 7 at St Paul's Episcopal Church, Clinton, Mo. She was the daughter of Boomer and the Rev. Mimi Savidge. Boomer is employed at Ford Motor Company in Claycomo, Mo., and Mother Mimi is the Rector at All Saints Episcopal Church in Nevada.

Katie was a graduate of Central High School, St. Joseph and received her paralegal certification from William Jewell College, Liberty, Mo. She was employed as a paralegal at The Law Office, Parkville, Mo.

Katie leaves a husband Robert Jess Kluge and two daughters, Kalie and Maggie Kluge all of Holt, Mo. She also leaves two sisters, Susan Walkup of Wake Forrest, N.C., and Janie Custer of St. Joseph, Mo.; and a brother, T.J. Savidge of Kansas City. Her nieces are Hayley and Lauren Walkup of Wake Forrest, and Gracie Custer of St. Joseph; and one nephew, Ethan Custer of St. Joseph. She also leaves a grandmother, Tralucia Franklin, St. Joseph; an uncle, Bill Franklin; and four aunts, Lucia Chastain, Southern Pines, N.C., Susan Roth, Jeannie Franklin and Cynthia Michalski, all of St. Joseph; and 16 cousins.

Robert's parents are Harry and Bonnie Holding, of Kansas City, Mo. He has three brothers, Nick Kluge of Parkville, Mo., Donnie Kluge of Meta, Mo., and Doyle Kluge of Kansas City. His grandfather is Ralph McCall of Meta.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 20, at Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral, 13th and Broadway, Kansas City, Mo., with visitation and lunch to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Kluge Memorial Fund for her daughter's education at First National Bank, 100 W, Walnut, Nevada, MO 64772.

Arrangements are under the direction of Heartland Cremation and Burial Society.
