Annual 4-H chicken barbecue set for October

On Saturday Oct. 7, Vernon County 4-H will host the 43rd annual 4-H chicken barbecue. This is the major fund-raiser for the 4-H program in Vernon County. 4-H members have tickets at this time for sale and tickets are also available at the Extension Office in the Nevada Courthouse. For adults, tickets are $6 and tickets for children are $3.50, with slightly higher prices at the door.

A very limited number of tickets will be sold at the door so please purchase tickets at the Extension Office by Friday, Sept. 29.
