Renaissance program promotes student success with a circus theme

During a Renaissance assembly Wednesday in the Nevada High School gymnasium, students voted teacher Rhonda Harris Nevada High School's top B.O.Z.O., above. Harris won for being a Bright, Outstanding, Zany, Optimist. At right, two students join the fun during a dance contest at the assembly, surrounded by dozens of inflatable circus animals. The teachers danced valiantly but were no match for the students' inventiveness and stamina. The Renaissance program rewards students for attendance and good grades through fun activities and other incentives.

Students voted teacher Rhonda Harris Nevada High School's top B.O.Z.O. Harris won for being a Bright, Outstanding, Zany, Optimist.
