Effect of the food law

The pure food and drug law, which went into effect the first of January, has already shown the good that will follow its enforcement.

The effect of this is to increased the sale of remedies that are valuable and that fulfill the provisions of the law. Hyomel, for example, is meeting with a larger sale than ever before and Ballagh's drug store is still selling it under a guarantee that it will cure catarrh or the money will be refunded.
