Members of Treble Effects, an all-girls show choir at Nevada High School, recently sold chances to win a hot air balloon ride, to raise money for their projects. Heather Hagenson sold her grandmother, Alberta Hagenson, the winning ticket for the ride. Heather said that she did not draw the ticket. Last Friday, the winds were perfect for Alberta to take her balloon ride with local balloon pilot Tedd Maxfield. At right, Heather and Alberta pause for a moment for a photo, before Alberta climbs aboard the gondola for the ride. Both were clearly excited about the opportunity for Alberta to take flight.
