Wanted to whip more policemen

The Tuesday afternoon Kansas City Star says:

Robert Carr, a farmer, came here from Rich Hill yesterday afternoon. Last night John Farrel, a patrolman found the man in a restaurant at 1020 Union avenue, engaged in throwing dishes at the waiters. Farrel arrested the man.

"But he certainly fought arrest," Farrel told the Judge Kyle this morning. "He said he had whipped three policemen and wanted to whip some more. But he couldn't whip me, so we went to the station together."
