Anna Mae Willson, 93, Nevada, Mo., died Thursday, July 19, 2007, at Christian Health Care in Nevada, following an illness of several weeks. She was born March 2, 1914, in Nevada, to George Lee Kessler and Nellie Mae Nodurft Kessler. She was married Feb. 1, 1933, in Walker, Mo., to R.L. Willson and he preceded her in death on March 15, 2002.

Mrs. Willson was born and reared in this area and spent virtually her entire life here. She was a member of the Metz United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and helped her husband for a lifetime on the farm.

Survivors include one son, Gilbert Lee Willson, Nevada: six daughters, Dee Jacks and Ruby Forkner both of Horton, Mo., Peggy Hunt, Nevada, Mary Comstock, Bronaugh, Mo., and Janet Nichols, Rich Hill, Mo.; 21 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Ella Piotrowski, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse; two daughters, Freda Raabe and Joyce Emory; and one grandchild, Ronnie Jacks.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 21, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada, with Genevieve Guinn officiating. Interment will follow at Newton Burial Park in Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at Ferry Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening between 7-8.

The family suggests that memorials may he made in her honor to the Metz United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
