Good show coming

The Belcher Company has been booked to appear at Lake Park two weeks, commencing Monday, July 22. On this occasion they will present the celebrated comedy drama "Circumstantial Evidence." This play is without question the best vehicle the Belchers have ever used. When you find one good laugh in other comedy dramas you will find 10 laughs in "Circumstantial Evidence."

Annual Elks fish fry is Thursday evening

The Elks Lodge annual fish fry will be held Thursday, with refreshments served at 6 p.m., followed by the dinner at 7 p.m., at Tucker Lake.

The menu includes fish, African Bardos, Boston Baked Beans, slaw, corn on the cob, bread, milk and coffee.

Cochairman for the fish fry are Ferd Kaup, Clyde Seaton and Bob Bell.

Cooks and servers are: Gene Rimmer, Jim McCall, Wayne Beisley, Barney Wolf, Bob Crawford, Sandy Smith, Tom Thorpe, Fred Renwick Jr., Bill O'Connell, Lynn Ewing Jr., and Runt Thomas.
