Zach Marsh of Fort Scott, Kan., continued his string of wins in the Street Stock Division at Nevada Speedway.

Last Saturday night, Marsh captured his eighth Feature win of the season, and his fifth in a row.

Will anyone chase him down?

Brian Bolin, also of Fort Scott, has captured three Feature wins in a row in the Modified division at what is regarded as the biggest little race track in the country.

LATE MODELS

Heat race winners were Brett Lafollette of Kansas City, Kan., and Brantlee Gotschall of Nevada. Jack Simmons of Erie, Kan., got the lead at the start of the Feature. A yellow flew as Zac Simmons, also of Erie, and Shannon Phillips of Joplin got together. This closed the field behind Jack Simmons for the restart. Although Donnie Timmerman of El Dorado Springs tried to chase him down, Simmons led this race start to finish to claim the win, his fourth of the season.

MODIFIED

Heat race winners were Ryan Whitworth, of Chanute, Kan., and Kevin Morrow, from Nevada. Whitworth got the lead at the start of the Feature. A yellow flew as Brent Bollinger and Ray Maloney bumped sending each spinning. An original lineup restart was called.

Again, Ryan captured the lead at the start. Brian Bolin of Fort Scott, Kan., was able to gain the lead and held it through several yellow flags to capture the win, his fifth of the season and third in a row.

STREET STOCK

Heat Race winners Eddie Fox, of Girard, Kan., and Andy Skaggs of Fort Scott. Marsh took the lead at the start of the Feature. Several yellow flags flew as cars got together and spun. Steve Shadden, Joe Beard and Kenny Shaw were the cars involved in this mishap.

Eddie Fox was in second place when he pulled from the track on one of the caution periods. Marsh held the lead start to finish to claim his eighth win of the season and his fifth in a row. Marsh also received a check for $500 and a trophy.

FACTORY STOCK

Heat race winners were Tiny Palmer and Chris Hendren, both of Nevada.

Shawn Hendren quickly took the lead in the Feature. Although he did receive a challenge from Billy Shadden, a Nevadan, Hendren was able to hold the lead and collect the win, his third of the season and his second in a row.

MINI-STOCK

Heat race winners were Mike Baxter, Sheldon and Liberal's Scott Mohlfeld.

Warren Highley got the lead at the Start of the Feature. A yellow flew as Greg Cassidy and Scott Mohlfeld got together sending Cassidy spinning. An original lineup restart was called and again, Highley took the lead.

Mohlfeld was able to take the lead shortly after the start and never looked back as he claimed the win, his fourth of the season.
