First day of practice

The Nevada High School football team started two-a-day practices Monday in preparation for the start of their 2007 football season under the leadership of Nevada's new head football coach Shannon Jolley. Fans' first opportunity to see the team in action will be in the Archie Jamboree on Aug. 24, with their season opener with the Bolivar Liberators, Aug. 31, in Bolivar. The first home game is against El Dorado Springs, Sept. 7.
