Library board meeting is set for Aug. 23

The Nevada Public Library Board will conduct its regular meeting on Thursday, Aug. 23, at 5:15 p.m., in the meeting room at the library, located at 212 West Walnut, Nevada.

Reports from various committees, a treasurer's report and the director's report are on the agenda. The 2007-'08 budget also will be discussed.

The library board meeting is open to the public, and those attending should use the Walnut Street entrance.
