Micheal Lee Reed

Micheal Lee Reed, the son of Virgil Reed and Ocia (Austin) Crowe, was born May 25, 1942 in Nevada, Mo. He passed away Aug. 22, at the Veterans Hospital in Kansas City, Mo., at 65 years of age.

Micheal graduated high school from Adams City High School in Adams City, Colo., in 1962. He served honorably in the U.S Air Force for about four years. In his spare time Micheal loved to square dance. He was quite good and attended many square dancing functions in the area. He also was a clown for a number of years in Califonia, where he entertained folks of all ages.

Survivors of Micheal include; his mother, Ocia Crowe, of Nevada; two half brothers Robert Lee Reed and James Ray Reed of Clinton, Iowa; one half sister, Patty Ann of Clinton, Iowa, and one stepsister, Virginia Thurston, of Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Virgil Reed; two stepfathers, Frederick Ellis and Henery Crowe; and one sister, Shirley Reed.
