Dru Allyson Hancock

Dru Allyson Hancock, the loving daughter of Jesse Lee Hancock and Crystal Dawn Mason-Hancock, left this world the morning of Nov. 28, 2007, at Children's Mercy Hospital, in Kansas City, Mo., after a sudden illness.

Dru was born on May 11, 2005, at a healthy 7 pounds, 11 ounces. She was loved dearly by her two older brothers, Draven and Drake Hancock, of Nevada. She was an angel in her short time in this world, and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her cousin, Lindsey Mason and by great-grandparents and many other family members.

Dru has left behind her mother and father, two brothers; maternal grandparents Mickey and Laurel Mason, of Nevada, and paternal grandparents Donn and Crystal Hancock, of Walker; dozens of cousins, aunts, uncles, other family and a world of friends.

Graveside services will be held at Newton Burial Park, in Nevada, on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 2 p.m.

All loved ones may visit or call at any time.

Visitation will be 1-2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 1, at Ferry Funeral Home. Donations may be made in Dru's honor in care of Ferry Funeral Home.
