Loretta M. "Bunny" Steward

Loretta M. "Bunny" Steward, 79, of Nevada, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008, in Nevada.

She was born June 29, 1928, in Nanty Glo, Pa., daughter of the late Richard and Marguerite Shreve. On Sept. 17, 1954, in Washington, D.C., she married Harold D. Steward, of the home.

Survivors include, her husband Harold, of the home; one daughter and husband, Carlene and Michael Kerr, of Fredericksburg, Va.; two sons and their wives, Richard and Judy Steward, of Hewitt, Texas, and Brian and Julie Steward, of Lamar; six grandchildren and for step-grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother, Richard Shreve, of State College, Pa., and one sister, Lila Turner, of Arlington, Va.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m., on Monday, Feb. 25, at the Hackleman Funeral Home, Highway 54 east, El Dorado Springs. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at the funeral home, officiated by pastor Bill Cox, senior pastor, of the First Baptist Church, Nevada.

Burial will follow in the El Dorado Springs City Cemetery, under direction of Hackleman and Sons Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Randy Steward, Leon Steward, Matthew Steward, Michael Kerr, John Turner and Nathan Turner.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be left at the funeral home for the Alzheimer's Foundation.
