Habitat for Humanity breaks ground on new home in Nevada

The Nevada, Mo., Area Habitat for Humanity held a ground breaking ceremony on Sunday, Feb. 24, at 821 N. Ash, the site of the next house to be built or remodeled by the local organization. Above are Jerry Janes, Habitat board member; Christy Hepburn, Habitat partner; Amanda Hepburn; Bob Beaver, Construction Committee; Constance Beaver, Habitat board member; Ken Osborn, Habitat vice president, Andrea (Wright) Jaumé, donor of the building lot' Joe Sunthimer, Construction Committee; Darryl Wright, Habitat president. Contributions to Habitat may be sent to PO Box 170, Nevada, MO 64772. The group also raises funds through monthly baked potato luncheons.
