Pat Farr, 69, of Fort Scott, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2008, at the Mercy Health Center. She was born Feb. 16, 1939, in Fredonia, Kan., the daughter of Byron and Dorsalena (Shobert) Burnett. She married William Richard Farr Feb. 11, 1972, in Vermillion, S.D. He survives of the home.

Pat and Bill owned and operated Fort Scott Lanes Bowling Alley from 1974 until 1993. She also worked for Gross Insurance for eight years until her retirement. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Bill, Pat is survived by her daughter Michelle Bruner and husband Dave, of Fort Scott, Kan.; a stepson, Steve Farr, of Las Vegas, Nevada; two stepdaughters, Sandi Dailey and husband Rick, of Norman, Okla., and Cindi Kleine and husband John, of Alpine, Calif.; a sister, Peggy Banta and husband John of Wichita, Kan.; a brother, Jerry Burnett and wife Cheryl, of Kaw City, Okla.; two grandchildren, Kylie and Dylan Bruner; eight step-grandchildren, Clint Sheppard, Kelly Adams, Nicole Kellow, Jacob Kleine, Janelle Kleine, Jaimie Kleine, Jessica Kleine, and Jillian Kleine, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Mickey McDonald and Eddie Burnett, and a sister; Phyllis Fisher.

The Rev. Dusty Drake will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m., Monday, May 5, at the Community Christian Church with burial following at the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday evening May 4, from 7 p.m., until 8 p.m., at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home.
