Jacqueline and Philip German

Jacqueline Anne Stanley and Philip LeRoy German were married on Saturday, May 26, 2007, at the First Christian Church in Dodge City, Kan.

The Rev. Jeff Hiers, friend of the bride's family, officiated at the ceremony.

Jackie is the daughter of Tom and Carla Stanley, Dodge City, Kan. Philip is the son of Kevin and Lissa German, Fort Scott, Kan.

The bride wore a strapless, corset-style gown with a scalloped neckline created from Rhapsody Taffeta in cognac. It featured a caught-up skirt and lace bodice adorned with Swarovski crystals, bugle beads and sequins. Her single tier, elbow-length veil was scattered with crystals.

The maid of honor was Stacy Zielke. Bridesmaids were Wendy German, sister of the groom, Sarah Bono, Megan Gottschalk, and Brooke Gates. Candlelighters were Sarah Feldt and Susan Jobe.

The best man was Brent Jackson. Groomsmen were Mike Stanley, brother of the bride, Rory Chaplin, Matt Bloomfield and Neal Troyer. Ushers were Matthew Stanley, brother of the bride, Andy Bolton, Chris Roles, Matt Durbin and Clint Cox.

Organist was Sharon Raney and vocalist was Jared Moore, cousin of the bride.

The guest book and program attendants were Darcy Herman and Marcella Rowe.

Immediately following the ceremony, a reception at the Dodge City Civic Center featuring dinner and dancing was hosted by the bride's parents.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Puerto Vallarte, Mexico. They will be residing in Omaha, Neb., as of June 2008, where Philip will complete a residency in anesthesiology and Jackie will be employed as a physician's assistant.
