Relay for Life event slated for tonight

Approximately 200 persons attended the Relay for Life dinner held at the Nevada Eagles Lodge on May 19. The guest speaker was Diane Earll, a local real estate agent and a 20-year cancer survivor. The dinner evening was in full swing as Nevada's own Big Red the clown, far right, along with a couple of clowning cohorts entertained the large crowd of survivors, their spouses and guests. The annual Vernon County Relay for Life all-night event is slated for tonight, on the Square in Nevada.
